Dublin-based bluegrass folksters, Gypsy Rebel Rabble, have just released a brand-new video for Blue Water Consistency in anticipation for the launch of their second album, Take My China, tomorrow night, September 21st, at The Workman’s Club.
The video was created by SecondFrame Films and features the band in a dilapidated old house with vocalist Ian Bermingham positioned poignantly at the piano. Blue Water Consistency is a simple yet beautiful ballad which makes the most of Bermingham’s unique voice and some really stellar songwriting.
Take My China was produced by the legendary Gavin Glass, and if this is song is anything to go by, promises to be a real treat! Support tomorrow night comes from the inimitable ladies of Mongoose and Mikey And The Scallywags. Tickets are €5 and can be purchased by getting in touch with Gypsy Rebel Rabble themselves or on the door tomorrow night—get down early to avoid disappointment though, this is a sure-fire sell-out gig!
Gypsy Rebel Rabble will also be playing an acoustic instore at Tower Records on Wicklow Street at half one tomorrow afternoon.
